50 Lockwood Rd

On a country road just 10m outside of Hudson, New York, sits this c1850 farmhouse on two beautiful acres with a pond and antique barn. The house has plenty of old world charm with its wide board plank flooring and exposed beams, while recent updates like gourmet kitchen appliances and insulated windows give you the best of both worlds. The eat-in kitchen is a farmhouse dream-- it is large and inviting with a gorgeous antique two bay sink, new marble countertops and a connected screened in porch so in the warmer months you can take dinner outside. The living room is well-sized, you'll find a wood burning fireplace and a beautiful bay window overlooking the garden. There are two bedrooms on the first floor as well as a full bath, recently renovated with timeless marble finishes. Upstairs, an additional sitting room sits at the center of the home, bathed in wonderful natural light. Two additional bedrooms lie at each end, and a full bath with a soaking tub completes the picture. Outside, a quintessential Hudson Valley barn has been gutted offering endless potential for the home's next stewards. The house is completely turn key, just 10m to Amtrak and 2h north of NYC.
